GOD

God is the creator and sustainer of the world, thus everything is held together, protected and prevented from disintegrating into chaos. We are his servants who must daily trust him for protecting us, caring for us and sustaining us.

God is alive and able to do mighty deeds for those who love him. God is forgiving and good, abounding to love to all who call Him (Psalms 86:5) The Bible teaches us, " You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory, and honour and power, for you created all things and by your will they were created and have their being". (Revelations 4:11). God is the first Person of the Trinity.

GOD the Son

Jesus Christ is the second Person of the Trinity who possesses all the divine powers and He is co-equal and co-eternal with the Father (John 10:30; 14:9). For Jesus Christ we believe the following: -

1. Christ is the image – the exact likeness of God, and is himself God, and yet he died on the cross as a human being.
2. Jesus Christ is God in the flesh, is the creator of both heaven and earth.
3. He existed before anything else and is the first born of those resurrected.
4. The only way to salvation is through Jesus Christ.
5. Jesus Christ is the head of every church and ultimate authority over the world.
6. Jesus Christ is the Messiah, God's Anointed One and the One who would set the broken world right.
7. Only Jesus Christ breaks down the walls of prejudice, reconciles all believers to God and unifies us in one body (Ephesians 2:11-12)
8. Christ has been and will be the same forever. In a changing world we can trust our unchanging Lord.

THE BIBLE

It is God's written revelation which is divinely inspired and contains 66 books, written by about 35 to 40 writers (I Corinthians 2:7-14; II Peter 1:20-21)

The Bible is word of God which is verbally inspired in every word (2 Timothy 3:16). It is absolutely inerrant in the original documents, infallible and God's breathed.

  • The Bible is word of God which is verbally inspired in every word (2 Timothy 3:16). It is absolutely inerrant in the original documents, infallible and God's breathed.
  • We believe that the Bible is not human book as God through Holy Spirit revealed His person and plan to certain believers who wrote down his message for his people (II Peter 1:20-21)
  • The Bible is our safe guard against false teaching and our source of guidance for how we should live.Read the Bible  regularly to discover God's truth and to become confident in your life and faith.

Man

God directly created Man in His own image and likeness. Man was created free from sin with a rational nature, intelligent, free will and morale responsibility towards God (Genesis 2;7)

We were made of God's image, but fallen into sin. God works to change us from the inside out, when the Holy Spirit purifies a heart, he gives self control so that the person will speak words that pleases God.

The Church of GOD

The church is the spiritual body of Christ. Physically, it is group of persons called out by God and blessed by the Holy Spirit. Generally church members are baptized. Church is not the building but the congregation of believers. (I Cor. 12:12-14; Col. 3:15)

Salvation

Salvation is the means through which God saves the mankind from the plenty of sins to give them eternal life. It is the process involving, one's calling, repentance, baptism, justification, receiving the Holy Spirit and living in faith and obedience to God. It is a free gift given to us by God according to our faith.

Faith

Faith is ultimate knowledge that God is living and exists and fulfills His promises. It is the mandatory requirement for salvation. (Rom. 1:17; Eph. 3:17; Heb. 11:1-2; James 2:22-24)

Repentance

Repentance is the 180 degree turn from the sins; and then resolving to fully obey God. True repentance is the first step towards reconciliation with God, and therefore ultimate salvation.
(Acts 2:38; 3:19-21; 8:21; I John 3:4)

Baptism

It is the public proclamation of ones' faith involving the ceremony in presence of members of the Church. A Christian truly repents his sinful life and he or she is led by spirit to accept the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for redemption of some and to follow Jesus Christ and obey His teachings. A Christian asking for baptism has to attend classes for his or her spiritual growth and on the appointed day he or she is immersed in the watery grave and baptized indicating that old nature is buried and a new person is born again. No body can be baptized unless there is explicit desire of the believer. (Matthew 3:13-16; Acts 2:38)

Tithing

It is the private agreement between the believer and God and is act of worship. It is free will offering and no body should be forced to give tithes but remember if you give tithes regularly then you are actively participating in spreading the kingdom of God on this earth. Malachi 3:8-10; Matthew 6:21
