CHRISTMAS CELEBRATIONS 2022

At the outset, I greet one and all in the mighty name of Lord Jesus Christ. Merry Christmas.Our Church has completed 15 years which have been fantastic and fruitbearing for the society in the small townof Northern state of India, Punjab. It has been eventful journey all these years for especially to me by sharing the word.

CHRISTMAS 2022: Celebrations

I submit my report in first person on the celebrations as under:

Sermons: Teaching about advent of Son of God from heavens to earth. God became Man. I taught seven sermons from OT as well as from gospels. The teaching was well received and my sermon on 25th December exhorted the congregation to gift their respective heart to Jesus and renew a personal relationshipindividually with Him.

Carol Singing: we sang door to door on streets and homes of the believers in the radios of about 15 miles. Names of Yahuwah and Lord Jesus Christ was glorified. This event took place after sunset till midnight

Bon Fire.23rd December, we assembled around makeshift fireplace in the open directly opposite our Church. We sang Christian hymns and songs in different Indian languages making the program sacred as well as romantic. Church in its full décor looked like shinning jewel in the darkness. We enjoyedwith sumptuous dinner whileeating around the hearth, indeed giving a feel of fellowship and home.

Church Service on 25th December. It was foggy winter morning, apart from snow flaks it was right mood for white Christmas but it never happens in Punjab. We had worshipped Lord Jesus with selected hymns and songs thus felt the warmth in the Church.

Then came the exhortation by me asking one and all as to what 'Gift' you have brought for Lord Jesus Christ. I asked them to give your heart and inculcate personal pernonal relationship with Him so that we live with Him for ever Amen

Young girls Anna Mathews, Himani and Avantika danced on two christian songs thus created real jubiliant atmosphere

We encouraged children below 12 years and gave them gifts to them. Every member of the Church was gifted with sovenior on this day. The interior decoration of the Church hall attracted one and all, really festive mood.

Christmas function ended with hot lunch on the roof of the Church. Lot of non- Christians from neibourhood joined us. The few sat during Church service and with others weshared Jesus Christ.

I finally sign off thanking my precious members of the church, together we are force to reckon with. I give all praise and thanks to God the father and Lord Jesus Christ for fervent love, mercy and peace to all our members andtheir family.
